You can immerse yourself within conservation-based tourism as you head into the Valley of the Leopard at South Luangwa, explore a vast uncommercialised wilderness of over 3,600 km² with rare bird species and an abundance of lion prides roaming its grounds at Liuwa Plain; as well as explore the spectacular mountain escarpment and wildlife-rich woodlands at the Lower Zambezi.
Zambia truly is home to Africa’s most diverse collection of wildlife in some of Africa’s remotest areas, Devil’s Pool (where peeking over the edge of the world’s largest waterfall will provide you with a fabulous view and thrill), the largest curtain of falling water in the world (shared with Zimbabwe), all for you to explore via exclusive game drives, guided walking safaris, horseback rides, canoe expeditions, and helicopter trips offering exquisite panoramic views.
It also houses some of the very best luxury resorts and tented suites in secluded bush camps and gorgeous African scenery without the crowds. This country is like nothing you’ve ever seen before, and we’re on standby to create a bespoke travel itinerary to exceed your wildest Zambian expectations.

Best Places To Go
Zambia is home to incredible African wildlife and unspoiled landscapes. If you’re looking for a holiday unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before, then look no further! Here are some of our top picks:
South Luangwa National Park
Frequently referred to as the Valley of the Leopard due to its big cat population, South Luangwa National Park is also home to over 60 animal species and over 400 bird species for you to encounter, as you surround yourself with scenic grassy plains and magical baobab trees, when visiting one of Africa’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries.
You’re truly in for the best time, with game drives and safari walks, especially since South Luangwa is the birthplace of the walking safari! Becoming one with nature is most definitely one of the most exhilarating ways to see big game in the wild, especially as this area is so remote and just such a special and scenic place to visit.
Lower Zambezi National Park
Situated along the northern banks of the Zambezi river and across from the world-renowned Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe — this national park is a Zambian gem. It boasts unspoilt wilderness and acclaimed African wildlife with approximately 500 species of birds to make your game-viewing experience one for the books.
Venture into this incredible landscape by paddling the channels of the Zambezi River, or hiking to the Chongwe Falls to enjoy the absolute remoteness this part of Zambia has to offer. At night, you can unwind under the pitch black African night sky, as you gaze at a galaxy of stars.
Victoria Falls
Without a doubt one of Africa’s most iconic sites — the Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-Oa-Tunya, meaning the smoke that thunders, is one of the SEVEN wonders of the world, and offers views that are not to be missed.
You can experience bush walks, boat cruises, rhino tracking, Simonga Village visits, catch-and-release fishing, and adrenaline-filled experiences along with exceptionally close-up waterfall views! This is a destination that needs to be experienced at least once in your life!

Best Time To Go To Zambia
Zambia’s weather is ruled by two seasons, namely the DRY and the RAINY season. The month of May signals the start of the dry season, with a bit of green and a bit of game somewhat dispersed. The wetlands start to dry up and swap their lush landscape for a drier savannah landscape during June towards the end of August. During this time the weather is cool and dry, making it superb for walking safari expeditions.
September brings the heat, and as the temperatures start to rise, so do the number of animals gathering around remaining water supplies. October and November are hot, and great for viewing predators. Once the rains start to arrive, bird watching is at its best. Bare in mind most camps in the South Luangwa region close during this season, with only a few private lodges remaining open and offering a very different kind of safari experience for you to immerse yourself in.
Game Viewing: July to October
Although the temperature in Zambia stays relatively consistent throughout the year, the dry season sees a peak in visitors, as it’s considered the best time to visit the country. It boasts sunny days, cool nights and exceptional wildlife viewing. September and October are EXTREMELY hot though.
Victoria Falls: April to June
The mighty Victoria Falls offers two incredibly different views and experiences during the rainy season and during the dry season. When the Falls is at its most powerful, your view could be obscured by its spray. During the peak of the dry season, there may be zero water coming over the Zambian side of the Falls, but this is the best time to take a dip in Devil’s Pool, and view the Falls from the ground up.
Devil’s Pool: September to November
With the water levels dropping in September, it’s a great time to experience the heart-pumping thrill of Devil’s Pool (a natural rock pool) right on the edge of the Falls.
White Water Rafting: September and October
An excellent time to white water raft down the river, as white water rafting is only on offer when water levels are low.
Bird Activity: December to March
During the rainy season there is a hive of bird activity, as chicks are born and nestlings are raised. Just remember some Zambian lodges close during the rainy season due to flooding, before booking your trip.
